Prita Chhabra To Make History Performing At 10th Annual Florida Music Festival

Online, April 8, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Orlando, FL - Prita Chhabra will become the first solo recording artist of South Asian heritage to ever perform at the Florida Music Festival since its founding in 2001.

Taking place from April 7-9, the concert series and conference was named "one of the top 25 music festivals in the Southeast US."

Set to release her debut music video on May 1st timed with the start of 'South Asian Heriage Month' in Canada, Prita's recent tour dates across Florida have included singing the US anthem for the Orlando Magic at their new Amway Center, and performing for over 10,000 fans at the 8th annual Palm Beach Indiafest.

Prita's appearance at the 10th annual Florida Music Festival on April 7th is presented by Florida-based Taj Blue Media, who are also presenting Bollywood superstar Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, nephew of legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, on April 8th at Silver Spurs Arena in Orlando.
