Prius Fans Set 206 Toyota Prius Records

Online, April 11, 2011 (Newswire.com) - During the last two days of March, Toyota paired up with URDB World Records for a marketing event they called the Toyota Prius Records project. The event consisted of two 10-hour webcasts with a goal to set 200 Prius-related records during that time.

URDB World Records is an organization whose motto is: "everyone can be the world's best something." During the two day webcast, 206 records were set including: most "Are we there yet?"/"No" exchanges in one minute in a Toyota Prius, fastest time for five people to each sit in all five seats of a Toyota Prius, fastest time to walk around a Toyota Prius on hands, and longest pasta strand suspended between two people's mouths in one minute in a Prius.

While the event was being held, anyone who had an idea for breaking a Prius-related record contributed by posting to http://www.toyotapriusprojects.com or tweeting @Toyota using #PriusRecords. All of the Prius records are now being shown at http://urdb.org/priusrecords. Even though the records have already been set, there is still time to break a Prius record yourself-all records can still be beat.
