Procrastination..... Is It Worth The Money??

Sara Miles, from the Award Winning Sacramento Movers, discusses Holiday shopping trends.

The first signs of autumn are in the air and the stores are setting up their winter holiday displays. There seem to be three trends with holiday shoppers: those who are finished before Halloween; those who buy everything the weekend of Black Friday; and those who wait till December 15 or later. If you're in the first group, you should be wrapping up soon, while those in the last group haven't given it a single thought.

For those of you with out of town family and loved ones an even greater dilemma is sure to arise. Now that the gift is purchased, how do you get it delivered safely across the miles? For the Christmas Season planning ahead could certainly save you considerable money.

For boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap and peanuts be sure to visit Sara Miles at our local award winning Sacramento office. To save even a little extra, Express Mail and Priority Mail envelopes and tubes are free at your local post office. The Post Office recommends the following deadlines: Parcel Post - Ship before December 10, Priority Mail - before December 18, and Express Mail - can be shipped the Week of Christmas. Of course, procrastination has its price; using a 5 pound box scenario the difference between Express and Parcel Post is $20.81 or perhaps the entire cost of the gift itself.
