Producer DreDay Says "War Fi God" Feat Bounty Killer,Kiprich & Kalado Is "Not A Tommy Lee Diss"

Online, September 16, 2012 (Newswire.com) - JA, U.S.A (Mpr Consulting/Shuzzr PR) - DreDay latest productions "War Fi God" featuring Bounty Killer, Kiprich & Kalado has yet to officially be released and it is already creating a heated buzz on social media and airwaves. After a snippet was leaked on youtube with the song dubbed a "Tommy Lee Diss". Media and fans have speculated that a war has been brewing between the artists in anticipation of Sting 2012. Those rumors have been fueled with comments from artists via various social media and although no name has been directly mentioned, dancehall enthusiasts have already made their own deduction.

Producer DreDay states that the song was not a Tommy lee diss "Kiprich brought the idea to me,he sang out the hook and i tracked it in and lay the beat. He was the one who thought that bounty killer would be a good addition to the project and later Kalado was added to the second verse and so it just came together". The single distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital will be available Sept 18th 2012 on itunes.

Having recently released The Baddest Riddim (available on itunes via 21st Hapilos Digital) Dreday is busy in the studio putting the finishing touches on singles with Aidonia, Chevaghn & Konshen, Kalado and Bounty killer set to be release in the coming weeks. He is also in the process of working on an album with Voicemail. "I don't really follow the hype, I'm just always making music" he says.

DreDay - Known for his innate creativity, eccentric imagination, high standards and unique style of creating music, Dreday has spent many years in a number of recording studios working tirelessly to perfect his craft.

Though born and raised on the island where Reggae music was birthed, DreDay could not escape the heavy influence of the North American music culture, which only decades before had helped to influence the emergence of Jamaica's own native music such as Ska, Rocksteady which later evolved into what we know today as Reggae music. The American pop culture would provide him with the inspiration to concoct his own unique blend of music and signature sound, by fusing genres such as Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Rock and Reggae music together.

Without a doubt his inherent love for music is what drove him to start creating his own records in 1998, a journey that would stimulate his creativity and push it to the limit. His inborn drive for perfection pushed him to relentlessly sharpen his craft, and develop his own sound both as an engineer and as a producer.

Fate would have it that even before being able to work with much of Jamaica's own established artiste's he received an opportunity to work in Miami, Florida as a studio engineer for a number of recording studios. This opportunity afforded him the chance to meet and work with various artistes and also opened up new doors that would see him traveling to the United States frequently for various gigs for various artiste and independent labels. These encounters also allowed him the chance he needed to meet with and produce for a number of local Jamaican acts. He went on to produce an album for reggae artists "Determine", a collaboration that would help to kick-start a tour for Determine across a number of cities in the United States. During this time Dreday also teamed up with England's "Top Secret" Studio to co-produce a Reggae album entitled "The Bed Room Riddim" a reggae compilation which did significantly well in Jamaica and across Europe.

In more recent times DreDay has produced songs for a number of Reggae heavy hitters such as Sizzla Kalonji , Tarrus Riley, Konshens, Voicemail, Aidonia, Vybz Kartel, Christopher Martin of recording artist for Shaggy's Bigyard Music Group and upcoming acts such as Fo5ifth and Kalado who is a member of Alliance, a group formed by Dancehall Legend Bounty Killer. Dreday has also produced music for a number of major television and radio commercials for major companies such as Digicel Jamaica, Flow Jamaica Ltd, Worthy Parke Estate's Rumbar Rum.

Dreday attributes his desire to bring about a fresh and different sound from listening and studying mega producers such as Timbaland, Dr. Dre and the Neptunes. His ability to not only produce a song but to do it effectively form the beginning to the end has helped this gifted producer on his quest to becoming a phenomenal producer and a musical genius, one who is destined for greatness.
