Professional Liability Underwriting Society Awards RPLU Designation to Jennifer Richard

Midlothian, Virginia, June 22, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Jennifer Jones Richard, ARM has been awarded the insurance designation REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY UNDERWRITER (RPLU) by the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). The Society is a non-profit organization with membership open to persons interested in the promotion and development of the professional liability industry. The RPLU designation is conferred by the Society on persons who complete the necessary parts of study in the program and meet the PLUS experience and ethics requirements.

Jennifer began her career with Professional Risk Associates Inc. (PRA) in 2001, after earning her Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.  As PRA specializes in medical professional liability insurance, Jennifer works with healthcare clients to identify and assess professional risk in their practice(s). Clients include physicians, surgeons, podiatrists, and allied healthcare providers. She is a member of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). In 2010, Jennifer obtained her Associate in Risk Management professional designation to provide clients opportunities to better assess their risk.

The designation will be formally conferred at a ceremony in Dallas, Texas in connection with the 2015 PLUS International Conference.
