Project Angel Eyes Has Partnered With SafeCheckIn.com

Project Angel Eyes is proud to announce that we have partnered with SafeCheckIn.com. Being dedicated to the thousands of currently missing persons we especially want to help parents protect their school age children. This is one more safety tool.

Parents, let's face it our children do not always tell us where they are REALLY going. With SafeCheckIn.com you can make your child an account, they can put in where they are REALLY going with the security of knowing mom and dad won't find out and ground them. If for some reason they do not check back in at the time they specified when checking out you will be notified right away. After all it is better to know when it counts then to never know at all. If your child just goes out now and tells you they are going to Place A and they really went to Place B if they become a missing person you will know where to really look instead of wasting valuable time on looking somewhere they were never at in the first place.
SafeCheckIn.com members enter specific information about themselves as well as information about any activity they are going to do (creating an "event"). When they "check out" SafeCheckIn stands by until the member "checks in" again. If the member is overdue then SafeCheckIn will attempt to contact the member to update their status. If SafeCheckIn cannot reach the member, we then contact the people that the member has designated as emergency contacts (i.e. the parents) with the local authorities being contacts of last resort. SafecheckIn.com does not send out emails or texts but actually calls the emergency contacts and makes sure there is notification AND action!
For years police and Search & Rescue professionals have been telling people to let others know when they go out alone. Police need a timely notice of someone missing and a good place to start looking. SafeCheckin.com provides both. It is that simple...as a parent you enroll your kids in SafeCheckIn. They tell SafeCheckIn where you are going and when they expect to come back...and everything is confidential till someone goes overdue. This means that your teens will feel free to use it even if they are going someplace unknown to the parents.
Project Angel Eyes has 2 goals; bring home those who are already missing, and find ways to prevent others from going missing. We strongly believe SafeCheckIn.com can be a great resource for not only parents of teenagers and elderly but everyone in general. At our website (www.DontForgetMe.Org), we provide the voice of the missing and the resources for those who look for them. For more information see the link at www.DontForgetMe.Org
