Propel Launches Excelleration Product Series at AAO in New Orleans

Propel is pleased to report the successful launch of its new ExcellerationTM Series at the American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting in New Orleans, LA.

Propel is pleased to report the successful launch of its new ExcellerationTM Series at the American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting in New Orleans, LA this past week. Leading experts in both the clinical and academic realms praised and supported Propel's new product line as ground breaking in the field of orthodontics.

The new Excelleration Series consists of the Excellerator device and the Excellerator RT. The Excellerator and RT are both used to create Micro-osteoperforations which stimulate the alveolar bone to accelerate tooth movement and release challenging movements. Similar to the Excellerator, the RT provides the practitioner with the same advanced orthodontic treatment, however it includes an autoclavable handle and disposable tips to minimize waste and maximize storage efficiency. Taking into account user's feedback, Propel created both devices to give users options based on their preferences and practice needs while still ensuring quality product and remarkable results. According to Dr. Lou Shuman, President of Pride Institute, "The official launch of Propel into the orthodontic community at the AAO Annual Session and the overwhelming interest of it's products, signifies orthodontic acceleration using micro-osteoperforation will soon be an integral option for all patient treatment, and may very well become the new standard of care."

During the meeting, key opinion leaders, both academic and clinical from the field of orthodontics spoke at the Propel AAO booth on the many advantages of Propel, including Propel's ability to accelerate tooth movement, release challenging movements, enhance clear aligner treatment, increase patient acceptance and expand a practice's patient base. Leading orthodontists Dr. David Alpan, Dr. John Pobanz, Dr. Thomas Shipley and Dr. Jonathan Nicozisis shared their clinical experiences using Propel with a captive audience of fellow orthodontists and international practitioners that packed the booth at every presentation throughout the three day lecture series. Bryce Way, President and CEO of Propel said "I am overwhelmed by the positive response we have received from the orthodontic community. The AAO was a great launching pad for us and we plan to continue this momentum in the coming months with new products, programs and partnerships as we continue to revolutionize the field of Accelerated Orthodontics."

For the many show attendees interested in Continuing Education credits, Propel released their first set of CE articles in partnership with Catapult University. Credits can be completed online with access to the latest articles on cutting-edge technology and practice development via the online portal at any time.
