Publishing History Made in the Horse World

All 7 Horse Tales for the Soul books have been turned into audio books with the actual authors from around the globe reading each story. This has never been done before and the results are amazing!

May 16, 2010, Little Rock, Arkansas. All seven Horse Tales for the Soul books are now available on audio CD and are making publishing history because each of the 300 + stories in the series were read by actual Horse Tales authors from around the globe and we are using them as fund raising tools for horse-related non profits across the country!

"This has never been attempted before because the technology just wasn't available." Said series creator and professional horsewoman, Bonnie Marlewski-Probert. "With 300 + stories to read and authors in every corner of the planet, you can imagine the logistical challenge this would pose. The project took several months to complete and we couldn't be more proud of the results." Said Bonnie.

"The idea to do the audio books came while on a 5000 mile book tour. I met Lauren McGinnis at a book signing. Lauren is a visually impaired horsewoman who rides with a NARHA group in Maryland. Lauren asked if the books were available on CD and I had to say, "not yet!". I promised Lauren I would make it happen and now, we have! We sent the first official set of audio books to Lauren as my personal thank you gift and they got a "two thumb's up"!

I promise you, some of the stories in each of the 7 audio books will melt your heart, some will make you howl with laughter and in all of them, you'll feel like you're visiting with old friends around the campfire! Authors come from all over the planet, from all age ranges and from all riding disciplines and they are all just like YOU and me. These books have something for everyone!"

CD's are available on-line at http://HorseTalesForTheSoul.com or through mail order by sending your check to Horse Tales for the Soul, PO box 548, Yellville, Arkansas 72687 ($24.95 for each book and please add 3.00 for S&H on mail orders). Each book in the series has more than 4.5 hours of stories to listen to - almost triple what a regular music CD would have. The beauty of having audio books is that you can enjoy these inspiring stories while cleaning tack, mucking stalls, driving to horse shows or while commuting to work or you can download them to your iPod for even more fun! These are the perfect gift for all the horse lovers in your life this holiday season!
