Online, November 8, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Dimples Delights has just moved to Orlando, Fl from New York City. Our cupcake stand is currently located at Orlando's Fashion Square Mall on E Colonial Dr. For the entire month of November Dimples Delights will be making a variety of purple cupcakes to help raise money for Pancreatic Cancer research. They will be donating fifty percent of all purple cupcake proceeds towards Pancreatic Cancer research.
Dimples Delights is a small family owned business that started up last year by Irene Mattei and George Bermudez, who are siblings. Last year, before starting their cake company, they lost their mother to Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 46. For Irene and George, raising money for various foundations and charities has always been a huge part of their lives. But this year, raising money for Pancreatic Cancer has been especially meaningful to them. There has only been between 2-4 new drugs approved for pancreatic cancer treatment since 1990. Their purple cupcakes will hopefully make a step into the right direction to help change this devastating number.
