Pybus Public Market Releases Video

Our Story - How COVID-19 Affected Our Small Businesses

As the businesses of Pybus Public Market continue to face the challenges of COVID-19, Pybus Foundation remains committed to supporting those businesses by helping them to emerge from the pandemic intact. “The Pybus team created a video to share some of the personal stories of our merchants as we launch Pybus Partners, our new monthly gift program. Pybus Partners is an easy way for individuals, families, businesses and groups to support the work of Pybus Foundation,” said Leslie Freytag, Executive Director.

“We have all been profoundly impacted by COVID-19 and the ‘Stay at Home’ orders. We have not been able to gather, attend events, shop or dine out. Your gift today will go towards supporting our merchants through this challenging time and help us continue the work of Pybus Foundation,” said Nate Bishop, President.

Pybus Foundation is the conscience of Pybus Market and has been the catalyst behind the full slate of programming that happens each year. Pybus Market has given the Foundation the opportunity to become community curators and serve its mission of fostering the arts, education, promoting community health and wellness, and providing fun, family-friendly activities. Additionally, the Foundation – often working with partner non-profits -- convenes community for fundraisers, art exhibits, fun runs, celebrations, workshops, and countless other non-profit events.

Become a Pybus Partner with a minimum gift of $25 a month. Your support of the Foundation helps offset rent and other expenses so our businesses can survive and be here when we all get to return to the market we love. Each gift will help us to preserve the community gathering place that Pybus has become.
