Online, July 24, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Quest CE, premier provider of insurance continuing education and FINRA firm element training, is proud to announce that throughout the month of August, the Quest CE team will be volunteering at the Hunger Task Force Farm and Fish Hatchery. Every quarter, Quest CE recognizes an organization within the community to support, as part of their community outreach program.
The Hunger Task Force Farm is the only farm in the state that grows fresh fruits and vegetables for the express purpose of feeding the hungry. Every pound of produce is delivered free of charge to the Hunger Task Force's network of Milwaukee pantries. Quest CE employees will aid in a variety of activities, including planting, watering, and weeding plants, harvesting fresh produce from the fields and orchards, and preparing new plants in the greenhouse.
"Quest CE is dedicated to the communities where we work and live," said Quest CE employee Kate Sala. "Working to end hunger in Milwaukee, by providing food to the community, is a great and worthy cause that I am thrilled to contribute to."
Quest CE encourages participation in the community through their "Quest CE Cares" initiative. This program offers employees paid time off in exchange for their participation in Quest CE's charitable efforts. In the past, the company has served the community through an American Red Cross sponsored blood drive, worked at the Toys for Tots Holiday Workshop to deliver toys to thousands of children in the Milwaukee area, and helped the Bay View Community Center by baking and distributing goods to low income adults.
"Quest CE is committed to establishing business and community partnerships that are forged through our strong corporate culture and enduring values," said Quest CE COO Linda Krenke.
Quest CE encourages the public to join in their pursuit of being active community members, by aiding community organizations in positively influencing the lives of individuals and families.
