QUICKTROPHY RECEIVES AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

Operation Action U.P. announced QuickTrophy as a winner of its Award of Excellence at its annual meeting. According to its website, annual award winners are, "outstanding businesses or major institutional employers who have contributed to the economic well being of their area in the Upper Peninsula."

Operation Action U.P. is a private-sector economic development organization that serves the 15 counties of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Their mission is to, "bring together interested industrial corporations, financial institutions, utilities, institutions of higher learning, businesses and concerned citizens in a coalition that will work to create a favorable economic climate and a strong employment base for Michigan's Upper Peninsula."

QuickTrophy President, Terry Dehring, attended and gave a presentation at the meeting, which took place in the Great Lakes Rooms of Northern Michigan University.

"This award recognizes that a company can be founded in an area as remote as Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and can grow completely as a result of internet sales," Dehring said. "It recognizes QuickTrophy as an exporter and a producer of local jobs."
