NEW ALBUM LYRICS IN STORES NOW!

(Atlanta, GA) - R&B Singer, Songwriter and Producer Donell Jones has released "All About Sex," the highly anticipated second single off his latest project, "Lyrics" (Candyman Music/Entertainment One Music). The single is the follow-up to the Top 3 Urban AC smash, "Love Like This." Jones, a poet in his own right, takes a different approach to incorporating "sex" into his music. Conveying a message to fans and listeners alike that relationships are not "All About The Sex". Remaining true to his unique style, Jones delivers strong lyrical content and smooth vocals accompanied by his classic R&B style. "I hope this album sparks some open dialogue about sex, love and relationships. There is a lot going on in the world and if you're not part of the solution then you are part of the problem" says Jones.

"All About The Sex" is #22 with a bullet on Urban AC radio this week

Here's what critics have to say about "All About The Sex".

"All About Sex," ... sounds like he's reducing a woman to booty-call status, but it's actually an adoring ode to the one who's so mentally and physically in-tune with Donell that they end up becoming "a dark-skinned version of Brad and Angelina, but the opposite of Ike and Tina." -- Soul Tracks

"Another winner is "All About the Sex," which despite what the title implies, is actually a romantic ballad." -- About.com R&B

One of my instant favourites, 'All About Sex', is reminiscent of the Donell we know and love, and is actually a romantic ballad, no just about sex, but admiration..." -- SoulCulture.co.uk

Solid songwriting skills earned Jones credits as author of several hits including Usher's 1995 hit "Think Of You" and 702's "Get It Together. He released his debut solo effort, My Heart, in 1996, followed by his Platinum-selling sophomore album, "Where I Wanna Be." "Where I Wanna Be"included the hits "U Know What's Up," a collaboration with Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes which reached #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks Chart, and the title track "Where I Wanna Be," which peaked at #2 on the same chart.

Three subsequent albums gained respectable positions in the Billboard 200 album charts, with 2002's Life Goes On reaching number two.
