In March, the Radiant Event Management, Inc. campaign managers purchased an abundance of food, prepared meals, and were able to feed more than 130 homeless individuals.

We plan to continue work with shelters. I have a long-term vision involving a nonprofit homeless shelter where service recipients can learn job skills and, if needed, obtain rehabilitation at no cost.”

“Feeding the homeless is obviously an important way to support a community, but there many other giveback options as well,” Sarah continued. “For instance, there are always all sorts of drives that take place around the holidays. It’s simply a matter of putting the word out to gather donations, and then transporting them to the receiving organization.”

According to Sarah, many business teams also enjoy sponsoring fundraising events and youth sports teams. Functions such as walk-a-thons are great platforms for enhancing awareness and generating financial support for worthy causes. Supporting sports teams is especially fun, because it gives associates the chance to get together outside the office for both excitement and relaxation.
