Ram Jack Provides Secure Foundation on Remote Waterfront Villas

Hudson, Florida, May 31, 2017 (Newswire.com) - The new Golfito Marina and Village, planned to be built on sand, needed a strong foundation to withstand the everyday flux of the sea.  Ram Jack Centro America, as sister company to All Florida Ram Jack, installed 82 helical piles over the course of 12 days, creating the ideal support for the new construction project.

A beautiful seaside tourist attraction, the to-be-built Golfito Marina and Village would be created directly on the beach.  To protect against the tides, owners raised the lot 12 feet using sheet piles and a combination fill.  More support was needed, however, so Ram Jack Centro America was contacted. 

Ram Jack installed 82 new construction helical piles averaged at 33 feet each in depth, after experiencing delays and having to work in 12 hour shifts for 12 straight days.  In the end, the project manager admitted he was “surprised Ram Jack finished ahead of schedule” and, thinking of the future, said he intends to use “Ram Jack to do Phase 2 in 2017.”
