Raptor Gyrocopter Concept launched in Dubai by Venatol

Dubai, Venatol presented in a Press meeting a newly developed Gyrocopter, which is a hybrid between an airplane and a helicopter for commercial and government use which has been designed based on requirements from governmental agencies.

"The Raptor is a universal airborne platform with a wide field of potential applications for governmental agencies and commercial organizations" said Dr. Barbara Urasch Vice President Venatol.Dr. Urasch described the strategic intent of this unique product in design and to build a universal multi-purpose airborne platform (gyrocopter), to achieve 85% of a helicopter's capabilities at 20% of a helicopter's cost, to continuously improve design, flight performance and mission capabilities.
"The current two products are the Sky-Cop/01 "Raptor" one seater (open and closed cockpit), Sky-Cop/02 two seater (open cockpit) designed for pilot training, with a range of 500km and useful load of up to 330kg customized wiring of wings to almost any high - tech loading specification" explained Dr. Barbara Urasch Venatol Vice President .

The design of the Gyrocopter is based on requirements from governmental agencies. One of the main parts is a very advanced camera and speaker system. The camera system allows transmitting in real time day and night. Another feature is the speaker system which allows guiding people on the ground
Users are Police forces for traffic control, crowd control, special forces surveillance operations, Border guards for surveillance of large and inaccessible border areas, guidance of ground operations, Coast guards for monitoring of shore lines and harbors, conducting searches and International missions for Peace support and observer missions, Fire police for proactive monitoring of fire endangered forests, fighting large scale fires, Other civil tasks for disaster and emergency control, environmental control, emergency medical support and the Oil, Gas and Electricity industry for pipeline monitoring, power line control.

"The Gyrocopter has a carbon body and is also in a bullet proof version available, which will be a must in sensitive areas" described Mr. Kaindl the Austrian developer of the Raptor and company owner.
"After three years market research and the optimization of our Gyrocopter we see a big demand which is basically the result of the facts that the Raptor is very save, easy and comfortable to fly, cheap to purchase compared with a helicopter. The Gyrocopter is using 16 liter gasoline per hour versus to 100 liter aviation 100LL per hour for a proper helicopter. The carbon footprint similar to that of a car makes it the most environmentally friendly airborne platform available" Mr. Kaindl explained.
"The strong and growing aviation industry in the UAE gives us the best environment to place a production facility as well as a high tech research and development center. To find and work with powerful partners is also one of the big advantages for this region. The first phase with an investment of 22 Million USD will have a production capacity of 800 units per year. Till today we have already received a big number of preorders from Asia and South America and also big interest from Military in Europe said "Dr. Barbara Urasch.
The Raptor represents a product which is environmentally friendly, easy to use and cheap to purchase and on top of all one the main application guarantee security, stability and safety. Any enquiries for investment opportunities or sales contact: [email protected].
