Rare Slyde Handboard Autographed By "Come Hell Or High Water" Movie Director Keith Malloy Auctioned Online

Online, April 17, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Steven Watts, owner of Slyde Handboards, recently attended the "Plight of the Torpedo People" book premiere at Patagonia in Santa Monica, CA.

In attendance at the event were director of "Come Hell or High Water" Keith Malloy, legendary bodysurfer Mark Cunningham and world-renowned surf photographer Chris Burkard.

"For a bodysurfer, handboarder, surfer, or waterman, the book premiere was a very historic moment, one that I wanted to capture for a lifetime. 70 percent of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to Heal the Bay in support of the "Ban the Bag" campaign focused on banning single-use plastic bag use in Los Angeles, California.
