RE/MAX Marketplace Announces Expansion Plans in Seminole County

CELEBRATION, Fla., June 12, 2020 (Newswire.com) - RE/MAX Marketplace and its parent company Marketplace Realty are pleased to announce RE/MAX Select in Oviedo will be joining forces on or before July 1. No financial terms were disclosed. After completion, the former RE/MAX Select will become RE/MAX Marketplace.

Gary Balanoff, the broker owner of RE/MAX Select, will be joining as a broker associate along with his team of knowledgeable RE/MAX agents. Under Gary’s stewardship, RE/MAX Select was honored as one of the top 20 small real estate companies in North America by the Quality Service Certification program. “For the last 20 years, Gary has been a recognized leader in the RE/MAX Network and we are happy to welcome Gary and his associates to our extended family,” added Beth Assif of Marketplace Realty.

The newly combined team is forecasted to sell over 170 area homes, condos and investment properties totaling nearly $50 million this year. Service areas will stretch from Lakeland to Deland along the I-4 corridor and 417 and 429 Beltways around metro Orlando. The company covers Polk, Osceola, Orange and Seminole counties.

The husband-and-wife team of Christopher and Beth Assif are principals of Marketplace Realty. Both have extensive corporate experience in sales management and marketing with Fortune 100 firms including Siemens, AT&T, and HCA Healthcare. Beth is a licensed Sales Associate and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and holds her MBA in finance from Wright State University. After a 30-year career as a tech executive, Christopher has been the CEO of a NASDAQ-listed Orlando tech company and his own successful consulting business before joining the brokerage’s operation last year. Christopher holds a certificate in management from The Ohio State University’s Max M. Fisher College of Business.
