Real 3D Creative Wins 2015 International Franchise Award
The International Franchise Show presented its awards to the various "show stoppers" in different categories with the overall Best in Show going to an Attraction Company who made everyone laugh.
New York, NY, March 9, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Over the past 5 years, there has been a noticeable rise in the amount of people who are purchasing and starting their own businesses to either supplement their income or to change their primary occupation.
So it was no surprise that this year's show was very well attended, with nearly 15,000 attendees during the two day show, and probably about 2,000 people crammed on the exhibition floor at all times. It seemed that the majority were camped in front of this year's overall winner, Real 3d Creative Labs, an attraction company with truly innovative and absolutely hysterical green screen videos. The company also treated attendees to a new type of technology called Augmented Reality where participants insert themselves into a scene in an action movie.
"We are excited for Real 3D Creative to return as their exhibit really spiced-up the floor with some great fun."
Greg Greenvale, Spokesperson
As winner, the company was treated to a nice plaque and a free return to exhibit in another Franchise show later this year. "We are excited for Real 3D Creative to return as their exhibit really spiced-up the floor with some great fun," said Greg Greenvale, spokesperson for the Franchise show.
In the interim, I got to see the usual suspects, Anytime Fitness, Subway, Little Caesars, Supercuts, , 7-Eleven, UPS store, Minuteman Press, Game Stop and many other of the A listers along with some new copycats, Freshslice Pizza, CoolTreats, Valu-Rooter and the Game Dudes. Most of the show was redundant as the Franchise industry seemed to have run out of new ideas and always repeats what is hot.
Then there were the other 1%. The innovative, the new, the needed and the most loved. I finally returned to row 3 to re-visit the Real 3D Creative exhibit. With only 30-minutes remaining until the doors closed, the show's attendance had dwindled, with the exception of what was going on at the Real 3D Creative booth.
This year's show hosted more than 100 first time exhibitors spurred by the desire to expand throughout the U.S. . Many veteran IFE franchisors claimed they saw more foot traffic by noon on the first day than they did over the course of the entire weekend during last year's event.
Media interest in the show was at an all-time high too, as word about the show's significance spread in the weeks and days leading up to the show.
