Christina Marlett believes that the human body is made to move. She is deeply passionate about incorporating mindful movement into all types of learning. 

Her official credentials are a Bachelors of Kinesiology and Bachelors of Education from the University of Calgary. She left her teaching career when she received her most important title: Mommy.  Once she started her family, Christina discovered entrepreneurship and the fulfillment of personal development. 

After training as an Embodiment Coach on the beaches of Mexico, the lavender farms of California and in the rain forests of British Columbia, she created her business Dance Ugly Dance Awkward.
