Rebuilding Together Broward County Receives Salah Foundation Match Grant
Oakland Park, FL, July 23, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Fort Lauderdale-based non-profit organization, Rebuilding Together Broward County Inc. (Rebuilding Together Broward) announced that it has been selected to receive a $50,000 challenge grant from the Salah Foundation for its signature Safe and Healthy Homes program. With this exciting opportunity, Rebuilding Together Broward will be able to better serve the Broward County community to improve the homes and lives of low income homeowners.

From July 1 through December 1, 2015, the Salah Foundation will make a 1:1 match for all qualified funds received by Rebuilding Together Broward for its Safe and Healthy Homes program. The program improves the mental, physical and emotional health of low income homeowners through housing activities such as home repair, safety improvements, energy retrofits and community revitalization. Over the next three years, the program will target its efforts in the Sistrunk residential corridor as part of a collaboration concept known as Communities of Promise.
