Recent Acquisition of Cospak Pty Ltd by the San Miguel Corporation Stirs Up Anxiety
Recent acquisition of Cospak Pty Ltd by the San Miguel Corporation stirs up anxiety, but Cospak Packages offer a reassuring response.
Online, July 22, 2010 (Newswire.com) - (San Diego, CA) - Cospak's Australasia connection ramped up recently with San Miguel Corporation buying a majority interest. The two companies will facilitate operations via the same sales mechanisms, offices, warehousing infrastructure, distribution network and customer support services, so a marriage was natural.
A new company report from Manufacturing Digital details Cospak's reputation as a strong supplier yet deficient manufacturer and explains how San Miguel resources should temper those perceptions and strengthen the company for the future.
"We have to make sure we keep communication close and that we are in contact regularly. We need to understand their business requirements as much as they understand ours," says Cospak General Manager of Operations Jonathan Evans.
Cospak Pty Ltd. manufactures a wide range of rigid and flexible packaging at three facilities located in Sydney, Auckland and Guangzhou, China for distribution to its warehouses in all Australian states, New Zealand, South Africa and Italy.
"We're looking at improvements, structural improvements, at the way we conduct business in the Cospak Plastics business-the staffing, the structure, how we handle our finances, our marketing. It's quite broad," says Evans.
