Record Breaking Social Media Awareness Drives 44 Million Impressions And Five Million Engagements For The First Annual PEACE Fund Games
Online, December 17, 2014 (Newswire.com) - While hosting a two-day celebrity paintball tournament is an enormous undertaking, Adrian Paul’s PEACE Fund Games was able to set record breaking social media numbers, with impressions and engagements resulting in an incredibly successful awareness campaign. In addition to the to the astounding social media numbers, the first annual PEACE Fund Games received and overwhelming amount of support from both celebrities and fans who came out to the Paintball Park at Camp Pendleton to compete in the games, raising awareness for children’s causes.
The PEACE Fund was founded in 1997, by actor Adrian Paul with his mandate of “helping children everywhere,” and the Fund’s initial program “School Makes a Difference.” The program was designed to show children how fun learning can be and how it positively impacts their lives. Now, the PEACE Fund has a series of strategic relationships with organizations around the world that aid to continue its commitment to help protect, educate and aid children everywhere. Funds raised work to improve the lives of children around the world, providing hygienic kits for the children of Mercy and Sharing charity, building homes for children in the Dominican Republic and supplying a baby respiratory unit for a hospital in Hungary are just some of the ways The PEACE Fund gives back.

With over 25 films and 200 hours of television experience, versatility, discipline and a solid work ethic have been the underpinnings of Adrian’s very successful 30-year, Internationally recognized, acting career. Adrian has also produced and directed both film and television projects, opening his own production company FIlmblips Inc., in 2009. The initiatives The Peace Fund put forward in 2014, were building houses in the Dominican Republic, facilitating and sending hygiene kits to children in Haiti, raised funds for a young transplant patient in dire need of an operation and provided funding for the building of two wells in Niger West Africa, the world’s poorest country 2014 saw the launch of three other initiatives for the Fund. The first was an interactive platform for charities in partnership with Microsoft, to share their ideas and cross platform resources. The second, was the first, Peace Fund Celebrity Poker Tournament that raised money for wells in Niger West African in partnership with Wells Bring Hope. The third was a celebrity paintball event, “The Peace Fund Games”, where celebrities, professional paintballers and the general public went head to head, to raise money and awareness for kids in need. The event not only attracted over 40 celebrities participants from film, music, television and the paintball world, but was so talked about that it even trended on Twitter.
