Red Carpet Rendezvous -- Fundraising With Impact
The Center for Volunteer Caregiving's 2016 Red Carpet Rendezvous will take place on Thursday, April 14 from 6:30-10:00 pm at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, NC.
Raleigh, NC, March 16, 2016 (Newswire.com) - With Wake County’s aging population projected to grow 200 percent by the year 2030, while funding for senior services continues to decrease, there will be an overwhelming demand for volunteer caregiving services for the aging population to continue to live independently. One small nonprofit's efforts are making big differences in the lives of these seniors and adults with disabilities in Wake County. The Center for Volunteer Caregiving has a vision for a community where people of all ages are valued and cared for. Their annual gala, the Red Carpet Rendezvous, is an annual tribute to that vision and a time to honor volunteer and family caregivers across Wake County that help bring their vision to life.
The 2016 Red Carpet Rendezvous, open to the public, will take place on Thursday, April 14 from 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm at North Ridge Country Club. The evening events will include signature cocktails, fabulous auction items, dinner, dancing to music of the decades and the legendary wall of wine! Heartwarming stories of care receivers and their caregivers will be woven into the program throughout the night. The event promises to be an evening to remember.
Our annual gala has the biggest impact on our ability to serve Wake seniors and adults with disabilities. With the funds raised during this year's gala we will be able to grow our volunteer base through expanded recruitment efforts aimed at multi-generational volunteers.
