Registration Now Open for Women Empowered and Enlightened Event in Raleigh
Business and Professional Women's Clubs of North Carolina to Host Triangle Networking and Educational Event Focused on Building Powerful Women November 12-14
Online, October 14, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Registration is now open for the Business and Professional Women's Clubs of North Carolina (BPW/NC) bi-annual event, "Women Empowered and Enlightened: Building Powerful Women." The weekend event, which takes place from November 12-14, will center on a series of educational and training sessions held on Saturday the 13th at the Hampton Inn & Suites RDU Airport/Brier Creek, and will also include social events, networking opportunities, and entertainment at various locations around the Raleigh area.
Registration for the Saturday educational and training sessions for the Women Empowered and Enlightened (WEE) event is limited to only 100 spaces, so those wishing to attend should fill out the registration form located at http://bit.ly/driJSg immediately and mail it, along with applicable fees, to Tonya Holbert, BPW/NC Treasurer at 35 Shadow Valley Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28739. Registration for the educational and training sessions is priced at $45 for BPW members and $55 for non-members. The sessions, which will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., will feature an inspiring panel of speakers and provide attendees with opportunites to connect with other professional women. Following the educational sessions, a one-hour BPW/NC leadership training session, open to all attendees, will be held.
The night of Friday the 12th will kick off the weekend-long WEE event with a wine tasting and winery tour at the Chatham Hill Winery, North Carolina's first urban winery. Afterward, the BPW/Raleigh Club will host an intimate afterparty at the Marriott RTP. Those who are registered to attend the Women Empowered and Enlightened Event on Saturday are welcome to stop by the BPW Hospitality Suite for networking. Registration for the wine tasting and winery tour is optional, and is priced at an additional $29, which should be included with event registrations. The afterparty is free to registered WEE attendees. On Sunday the 14th, guests are invited to attend a production of April de Angelis's "Playhouse Creatures," a riotous historical drama about women on the stage in Restoration England, at Meredith College.
