Reinhardt LLP and SavicFoley P.C. Complete Merger
NEW YORK, January 27, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Reinhardt LLP and SavicFoley P.C. completed their merger effective Jan. 26, 2022. The combined firm will operate under the name Reinhardt Savic Foley LLP (www.rsf-llp.com) ("RSF") with lawyers and other professionals between its four offices in New York, London, Denver, and Stuttgart. The merger will expand the firm's collective capabilities with a combination of its predecessor firms' domestic and cross-border litigation, corporate & transactional, investigations, commercial, real estate, immigration, intellectual property, and tax practices.
"This is a very exciting event for both firms, our clients, and our team," says Sarah E. Tallent, one of the firm's New York-based partners, adding that "[t]he merger enables us to expand on the services that we provide to our domestic and international clients, allowing us to assist them with a wide variety of legal issues that they may encounter. We are extremely proud of the quality of our lawyers, our work product, our advice and counseling."
"I have had the pleasure to work with Reinhardt LLP attorneys in various capacities over the years and am delighted to be able to service existing and new clients under the joint banner," said Stefan Savic, a New York partner. He adds that "we were fortunate to combine forces with a firm that shares our culture, philosophy, and strong international background, and I look forward to providing an enhanced breadth of services to our ever-expanding client base."
"With our deep commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, the combination really is a match made in heaven," says Dierk Reinhardt, who founded Reinhard LLP in 2005 with Andrea Fiocchi and Sarah E. Tallent. "This step has been months in the making and included meetings with Stefan Savic, Thomas Foley and Kurt Krautheim in the U.S. and Europe, and I am greatly excited about the addition of a trial-tested team that shares our core values and strives for excellence," says Andrea Fiocchi. "Our clients can expect from the new firm the same focus and high-quality service that they have come to depend on," adds Fiocchi.
"With this strategic combination, Reinhardt gains a larger geographical footprint, deeper resources and a broader network that will enable us to expand services provided to our clients," said Carlo Giovannetti, one of the firm's New York-based partners who is also licensed to practice as an attorney in Italy.
"We are excited to launch the firm built on our close friendship, mutual professional respect, and distinctive combined skills and experience," says Thomas Foley, whose substantial investigation experience as a dual-qualified solicitor in England and attorney in New York includes high-profile inquiries into the death of Princess Diana and the post-war occupation of Iraq.
As part of the merger, SavicFoley will relocate its New York office to Reinhardt's state-of-the-art space at 200 Liberty Street (f/k/a One Financial Center), one of RSF's four offices. Both firms will retain all their current legal and para-professional staff.
