REMAND, a Revolution Pictures film, is a heartfelt and true story of the transformation of Uganda's criminal justice program that was sparked by one man's quest for justice on behalf of a juvenile prisoner. This is the film about the power of an idea. The audience will look deep into the faces of despair through the eyes of twelve law students as they meet several prisoners in their darkest hours, and watch as the story unfolds and leads to dramatic change in the criminal justice system of an entire country.
