Women2Watch Reveals this Year's Innovation Award Winning Executives
NEW YORK, September 18, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Remodista, Inc., social think tank focused on understanding and encouraging retail disruption, will be hosting their U.S. Women2Watch in Retail Disruption 2017 Innovation Award Show Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at The Glasshouses located on 545 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10001. The award show will reveal five Innovation Award winners for 2017 and one spirit of St. Jude Award.
Each year the Women2Watch in Retail Disruption program features 80 influential women who are among the top executives experimenting in online and brick-and-mortar retail, solving problems in operations, CRM, marketing, commerce, IoT, supply chain, logistics, and globalization. Some of this year's Innovation Award finalists include Krissie Millan, VP eCommerce + Digital Innovation at Rebecca Minkoff; Julie Mathers, CEO and Founder of Flora & Fauna and Chau Banks, EVP, CIO + Channel Integration at New York & Company.
It's a combination of fashion and beauty related companies who are incorporating technology into their products. These are companies who are new and differentiating themselves. The Innovation Lab includes Remodista's favorite things.

While 2017 was the third year of open submissions for Women2Watch in Retail Disruption, it was the first year that nominations were open in Australia. An award dinner was held late July in Sydney, Australia where 10 of the 80 women were highlighted for their excellence and Jade Collins, Co-Founder and CEO of Femeconomy, was award with the 2017 Innovation Award.
The latest addition to this year's award show is the Women2Watch Innovation Lab, an exhibit of curated products from partners to highlight new and exciting innovations. Women2Watch and their guest will get to explore new products from beauty, wearable technology, artificial intelligence and mobility. These brands are on the cutting edge of technology making waves in fashion by catering to personalization, everyday useful products, and giving the customer a unique experience. Some brands participating include: Lively, Linger, Tulip Retail, and Pebble Post.

The award show will wrap up the year for Women2Watch in Retail Disruption until the 2018 nominations open up to the public on Oct. 15, 2017 including expansion to Europe. The honoree announcement will be released Dec. 31, 2017.
