Removals Company Reports Sharp Growth In Norwich And Cambridge Areas

Is the UK housing marketing picking up? Data from some sectors suggests it might be.

While the UK economy may technically be back in recession, this is certainly not the case in all sectors. Abels Moving Services, a Removals company located near Norwich, has reported a sharp growth in residential moves in some parts of the UK.

A spokesperson from Abels said "We offer moving services both nationally and internationally. In 2012 we have noticed a sharp rise in the number of people needing removals in Norwich and Cambridge. It's great to see the housing market beginning to pick up. Hopefully this will be the shape of things to come."

At the end of 2011, Property Wire predicted that 2012 would see a gradual increase in property prices, driven by in a rise in house sales. The prediction was that house prices would only rise in the London and the South. However, it would appear from Abels' experience that the East of England is following suit.

But perhaps this is not so surprising; "removals companies in Cambridge have always had a fair bit of work - it's a lovely city, steeped in history. And, with London only being an hour away by train, it's in the commuter zone" reports another of Abels' spokespeople.

"Norwich, however, is not really in the commuter zone, being almost two hours away from London by train. But you never know, the recession has changed a lot of work patterns."

While the recession has certainly shaken a few things up, it's great to see companies like Abels reporting good news.

Having seen many established businesses go under in the current financial crisis, positive news stories from the like of Abels, who were created 23 ago and are a holder of a Royal Warrant to Her Majesy the Queen for storage and removal services.
