REO Maestro Is Now Realis Real Estate Software
Online, January 20, 2011 (Newswire.com) - REO Maestro has changed its corporate brand to Realis Real Estate Software. REO Maestro will remain the product name of the company's flagship workflow management tool that has set the standard for agents and brokers specializing in REO (Real Estate Owned) properties for the last decade.
The varying requirements of lenders, servicers, and outsourcers can make buying and selling of residential foreclosures is one of the most complex processes in real estate. This is where REO Maestro created the category, and today continues to deliver best-practice performance," said Realis Founder and CEO Lauren Roberts, a 25-year industry veteran and top-producing agent who started the company 'for real estate professionals, by real estate professionals' to solve the challenges she saw in her own REO business. "With our new name and legacy of technical expertise and hands-on support, we're expanding our brand and software platform to serve the needs of today's evolving marketplace."
Though historically reluctant to adopt new information technologies, the real estate industry is under pressure as banks, regulators and new buyer behaviors are changing the landscape. There is a thinning of the herd as realtors are forced to change the way they do business.
"Technology has come to the forefront as the top-performing professionals adapt to new environments, target new opportunities, and adopt best practices to produce more revenue with fewer resources," said Roberts. "Our workflow management software platform is easy to use, can scale within large and small operations, and has the flexibility to perform a variety of mission-critical functions across the real estate industry's vertical markets and specialty areas."
With rising demand from its customers - primarily residential foreclosure experts who are diversifying their practices - Realis is expanding their product portfolio by developing new solutions to address traditional retail real estate processes, contact management, property management and other functions. "External pressures from a myriad of sources have forced alternatives to foreclosure, so we have developed an easy-to-use tool to manage short sales," said Roberts. This latest product under development, called Prelude, is undergoing beta-stage testing with current Realis customers." The much-anticipated release of Prelude is scheduled for Spring 2011.
About Realis Real Estate Software
Based in Denver, Realis Real Estate Software (formerly REO Maestro) provides and supports workflow management software for real estate professionals. In 2001 Realis Founder and CEO Lauren Roberts was a REO (Real Estate Owned) broker who wanted to streamline her operations, and broaden the talents and productivity of her agent team when she created REO Maestro. For almost a decade, REO Maestro - the first REO management software built by and for real estate professionals - has set the standard for simplifying and organizing all workflows associated with marketing and managing REO properties. In today's unpredictable market, the way agents can earn more is to diversify their services and portfolios, and work more efficiently - not manage more properties.
