RePaper Web Highlighter App Lets You Highlight and Share Web Pages

RePaper Web Highlighter app for iPhone and iPad lets users highlight web pages in different colors and share the highlighted paragraphs by email, Twitter or Facebook. The highlights are securely stored in iCloud and synchronized across all devices.

AppBlit released RePaper Web Highlighter version 1.2, available for iPhone and iPad as a universal application, the first app that lets users highlight and share web pages directly from their mobile phone or tablet.

RePaper is a full blown web browser, where users can browse any web page, highlight text in different colors and share the highlighted paragraphs by email, or post them on Twitter and Facebook.

Using iCloud, the highlights are securely stored in the cloud and synchronized automatically to be available across all devices.

In this brand new version, RePaper brings the new "one-click to highlight" functionality: users simply select some text in the web page and then tap the highlight color of their choice on the annotation toolbar.

The integrated Google search bar features automatic query suggestions like in Mobile Safari, allowing fast web searches. All highlights are shown locally in "My Library" and feature a thumbnail of the highlighted web pages. For each annotated page, a summary view lists all paragraphs that contain highlights, letting users quickly glance at the important parts of the page.

RePaper increases productivity, and users use it for personal archiving of important web pages during research. And RePaper streamlines the process of sharing web pages: instead of only sharing links, RePaper allows users to send an annotated version of the article that shows recipients directly what the best parts of the web page are. When shared on Twitter or Facebook, RePaper hosts anonymously and for free the highlighted paragraphs on the AppBlit.com server so the annotated web pages are embedded in tweets and Facebook posts.
