Resqdebt Collects Food for Needy for Thanksgiving

Online, November 27, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Allen, Texas, Nov. 25, 2009 - In an act of immense holiday spirit, Resqdebt employees collected more than 1,000 food items to help the Allen Community Outreach bless needy families with a bountiful Thanksgiving dinner.

The 1,078 goods were collected over the course of three days between Tuesday, Nov. 17 and Thursday, Nov. 19. The company averaged nearly three food items per employee per day. The food will be used by the Allen Community Outreach as part of their Thanksgiving collection activities.

An internal contest was held between the company's sales and support divisions to see who could raise the most goods. However, the real winners are the needy families of Allen who will have a warm Thanksgiving meal in the coming week, all because Resqdebt employees reached into their hearts and their cupboards to make it a special holiday.
