Restaurant App Crave to Host a Food Fest With Daily Free Meals and Beverages
NEW YORK, January 24, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Crave, the last-minute restaurant deals app, is kicking off CRAVE FEST 2020, a two-week food festival to spice up weekday meals and get working professionals to explore New York City's local restaurant scene.
From Monday, Jan. 27, to Friday, Feb. 7, over 50 restaurants in Manhattan are giving away more than 500 free meals and beverages daily, exclusively through the Crave app. Some participating restaurants include The Shakespeare, Tara Rose, Ono Bowls, Yaso Noodle Bar, Headless Widow, Juice Therapy, Mexican Festival, Som Bo, Chirp and much more.
Free burgers, fish & chips, açaí bowls, burritos, sandwiches, smoothies, noodles, coffees and more will all be available to redeem at the tap of a fingertip.
“We want New Yorkers to explore the city’s restaurant scene from a different perspective. While we are all familiar with the trendy chains and widely acclaimed eateries, we tend to forget about our neighborhood restaurants or cafes,” said Crave’s CEO and co-founder Pan Koutlakis. “We want to help build on a vibrant local restaurant scene without breaking the bank. Hosting Crave Fest 2020, with more than 500 daily free meals and beverage items, will encourage New Yorkers to eat out more often while accessing exclusive deals at some of New York’s top local eateries.”
During Crave Fest, new and existing Crave users will have access to the exclusive “free” deals as well as daily uploaded last-minute deals at partnering restaurants.
To grab a free meal or beverage, New Yorkers must:
- Download and open the Crave app
- Search for the promoted participating restaurants on Crave’s map or list-view
- Be one of the first people to redeem a "Free item" deal (or pre-book it for a later pick-up)
- Head down to the select restaurant and show the voucher to receive the delicious and free meal or drink
