Restaurant Chain the Toasted Yolk Café Set to Open Two New Locations

HOUSTON, May 24, 2018 (Newswire.com) - After years of steady growth, Houston-area restaurant chain The Toasted Yolk Café will open two new locations this month, including the chain’s first franchised eatery.

The franchised location, opening June 3 in Katy’s Grand Crossing development at Grand Parkway and Interstate 10, will join the new corporate-owned restaurant that opened May 16 in New Caney’s Valley Ranch Town Center. They are the fifth and sixth locations for The Toasted Yolk Café chain.

The first Toasted Yolk Café opened in 2010. Co-founders Chris Milton and Mathew DeMott, two self-described “morning people,” set out to provide a unique breakfast and lunch experience that was far superior to the limited options available to them at the time. The chain quickly grew to four locations on the north side of Houston offering the same menu of fresh, mouth-watering breakfast and lunch items served with an irreverent flair, including the Arnold, the Toasted Yolk’s cheekily elevated version of eggs benedict.

All of The Toasted Yolk Café’s menu items are made from scratch daily and cooked using locally sourced ingredients at every opportunity.
