Retensa Green Grant Announces Finalists in Free HR Service Grants for Eco-Friendly Organizations

The free service grant supports environmental focused companies providing green services, creating green energy, and developing green products or food. The 2010 finalists of the First Annual Retensa Green Grant are, in alphabetical order:

•CoachRider: Hybrid vehicle-only car service
•Green in Greene: Wind energy turbine evaluation and installation
•Greensaw Design & Build: Custom building using sustainable resources and reclaimed lumber
•Hanson General Contracting: Green construction and historic preservation
•Peartree Kids: Eco-friendly pre-school services
•Project Wildlife: Wildlife healthcare and rehabilitation
•SunWorks Solar Systems: Solar energy design and installation

Winners will be determined by a panel of experts with years of experience in sustainable practices including, but not limited to: business models, production/delivery, green practices, and environmental impact. The judging panel is currently reviewing the finalists' applications, and the official top three winning organizations will be announced in August 2010. ###
