Online, March 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - A recent study conducted by one of the glossy women's magazines has revealed that for men facial hair on women is an extreme turn-off. The men polled stated quite firmly and consistently that a woman with upper lip hair was as complete turn-off.
This maybe a case of double of double standards with many men not really bothering to keep their facial hair in check and having a few days growth before shaving. Indecently in the same poll; women also said that stubble on a man's face was a turn off as when kissing "it felt like kissing sandpaper".
In this survey men stated carrying extra weight was the biggest turn off when it came to women after that it was facial hair. It appears that is does not matter how attractive, slim, friendly or sexy a women is if she has a tiny mustache then there is no chance that a man will consider dating her.
It maybe a little defect but for guys it is a major stumbling block it seems. Men want women who take care of their bodies and sporting some hair on the upper lip is an indicator for guys that a woman isn't really taking pride in herself.
I think we all know that women do have the rawer deal when it comes to appearance and have to look after themselves more when it comes to their looks. Men want women to look beautiful but then complain that it takes too long for them to get ready.
Amazingly in this same study men also stated that they didn't like women with ugly feet. It really seems that women have a lot to do for the body beautiful and to attract a man.
Getting back to the main subject of this piece what can a woman do about facial hair? Well firstly she can rule out shaving because of the chances of nicks and cuts (having a shaving cut would be worse than a tiny mustache). There is waxing but that is painful and do be done properly requires going to a beauty therapist.
The ideal and newest solution is to use a face hair removal cream. These creams work by breaking down the keratin that is the main protein that makes up the hair strand. Once the cream has been on for the allotted amount of time the hair can be simply wiped away with a damp cloth.
The other positive from using a hair removal cream compared to other methods is that you can easily and simply do this from home plus the results last twice as long as shaving for example.
Many women now exclusively use hair removal creams as their sole way of removing facial hair. The other benefit is that many of these creams can also be used on other body parts such as armpits and legs too.
There are many creams out there for you to try and you can easily with a bit of research find some free trial offers on the internet just search the term "women facial hair removal creams" when online.
