One year of intense work was put into development of the revolutionary Online-Platform Newsgrape, that a young team under the students Felix Häusler (21) and Leo Fasbender (22) from Vienna, Austria, have now presented to the public on Kickstarter.co

DEVELOPMENT
Newsgrape operates on a specially designed engine, based on a modern version of "Django", a variation on the famous "Python" engine that is so far already consisting of approximately 11.000 lines of code. The development of Newsgrape Alpha 1.0 has so far accumulated 5.440 hours of work, from over thirty people from all over the world (from Germany or Singapur to Serbia, Croatia or Hungary)
KICKSTARTER
With $12k Newsgrape Pre-Beta 1.0 can launch this winter. In case 50k are reached, server capacities could be increased drastically so the traffic in the States will be much quicker. In case over 120k are pledged, the team will immediately begin with the development of the irreducible complex Advertising and Affiliate System so users can generate profit much quicker.
Main facts of the Pre-Beta Version

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Felix Häusler, Co-Founder and CEO
Born in 1989, Felix has spent most of his time in Austria, where he grew up in a family of marketers. In 2007 he started working as a Marketing Assistant for a DJ Agency where he worked for almost two years. In addition to various job assignments from the areas of event management, web- and print-designing, Felix worked as an advertising voice for many radio and television spots while studying Business-Law at the University of Vienna.
Leo Fasbender, Co-Founder and CEO
Leo was born in 1988 in Straubing, Germany. Following an exciting childhood where he spent a couple of years in Moscow, he moved to Vienna in 1999. Last year Leo landed in Newcastle upon Tyne to study two semesters of Marketing, Politics and Media Studies. During his gap year, he was a sales manager in a small company. In September 2010, Leo moved to London to study for his Bachelor Degree in Media and Communication at Goldsmith's University, knowing that it would eventually benefit towards his work for Newsgrape.
