Right C3 Awards Additional 2016 Scholarships
Las Vegas, NV, August 12, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Right C3 is proud to announce the winners of the next round of Survey Scholarship to Kazuki Garay and Roger Baez. Each year, Right C3 holds a scholarship contest for graduating seniors in the program. Right C3 uses these survey results to continually improve the program for current and future students.
Kazuki Garay was awarded $750 to help with his college expenses as he attends Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he plans to study business. Although Ramapo wasn’t originally Kazuki’s top choice, he realized it was a better fit than he initially thought. “Ramapo was kind of my second choice, but after I really looked at Rutgers, I liked Ramapo better.” Kazuki attributes a lot of his success and inspiration to his mom. “My mom pushed me hard to do well in school. She’s my hero. She’s inspired me to study banking and get my MBA.” Both of Kazuki’s parents immigrated to the U.S. - his father from Ecuador and his mother from Japan – so they were not very familiar with the US higher education system. They were interested in Right C3’s guidance to make sure Kazuki knew what to expect. Kazuki really appreciated Right C3’s email reminders that kept him on track. He was also grateful for the help from the tutors and the SAT and ACT test prep.
Roger Baez was awarded $1,000 to help with his college expenses as he attends Florida Atlantic University to study mechanical engineering this fall. Growing up in Florida, Roger knew he wanted to stay close to home to save on costs. He plans on commuting to FAU in order to both save money and be close to family. He’s also worked hard to keep his grades up to help pay for school. Since he knew scholarships were also focused on test scores, he took advantage of the Right C3 test prep as much as he could. “The SAT/ACT prep increased my scores on both exams, leading to better preparation for college. When I used the test prep, every single area went up!” Roger recognized Right C3 as one of the driving factors that kept him focused on his college goals: “The timely emails helped greatly and reminded me of important deadlines.” Roger’s family was very grateful as well and very proud of Roger’s achievements. “As the only child of my family, and the first to go to college, you've helped achieve a lifetime goal of mine,” he tells us. “My parents couldn't be prouder.”
