It is one of the first school/ college to establish the Cambridge IGCSE and "A" level qualifications in Mumbai in 2001 and in Pune in 2005.
Carrying forward this legacy in the field of education, the RIMS International School will shortly launch its first CBSE school at Undri. The classes for the pre primary and the primary section of the CBSE school will commence from June 2010.
The RIMS CBSE School will admit students for the Pre- Primary and Primary section. The Pre- Primary section will include Nusery, LKG and UKG. The Primary section will include from Grade 1 to Grade 5. The construction for the RIMS CBSE School is going on and the new building will be operational from June 2010. The school building will have 8 classrooms on the ground floor for this academic year and the construction for the next 3 floors will commence from next year. The school will have all the necessary infrastructure for the students. The building will have 24 hrs security at the gate, a visiting lounge for parents and visitors, state of the art sports facility, play area with children friendly equipments,Art room, assembly area, Hi Tech classrooms with SMART Boards and White Boards, laboratories and cafeteria.
The teacher to student ration for the pre- primary section and the primary section will be 1:20 and 1:25 respectively. This will help the teachers to pay more attaention to all the students in the classroom. The RIMS CBSE School is one of the few schools to follow the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) System, which has been proposed by the Shri. Kapil Sibal, HRD Minister. The school has has placed equal importance on academics as well as the wellness programme (extra curricular activities).
