Ripple Digital Publishing Searches for Kids Write 4 Kids Creative Challenge Authors
Kids get chance to become published ebook authors on Apple iBookstore, Amazon's Kindle and Kobo Bookstore.
Online, September 15, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Kids have the most amazing stories, however, their tales are often overlooked by publishers in favour of adults writing kids stories. Ripple Digital Publishing wants to provide kids a chance to be authors too. The search for inspiring youth adventure tales has begun - Kids Write 4 Kids has announced its annual call for entries into this unique challenge open exclusively to kids.
Open to global youth in grades 4 to 8, Kids Write 4 Kids is searching for original stories 500 - 8500 words in length. The annual call for entries is open from now until December 31, 2013. All stories will be reviewed by a judging panel, with selected stories being published as ebooks in summer 2014.
Each year, Kids Write 4 Kids donates proceeds from ebook sales to charities that support reading and writing. This year the selected partner is the National Reading Campaign. The National Reading campaign focuses on promoting accessible reading for everyone and that it is an essential component to the well-being and happiness of an individual.
Last year, Kids Write 4 Kids selected four budding authors. Their books are now available on Amazon Kindle, Apple iBookstore and Kobo Bookstore.
