River Valley Dentist Participates in Free Extraction Day at Uafs

Fort Smith, Arkansas , February 26, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Dr. Charles Liggett, of River Valley Smile Center, a leading dental practice in Fort Smith, Ark., recently co-hosted, in coalescence with the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith (UAFS) College of Health Sciences and the Dental Hygiene Program, an extraction event: Free Extraction Day 2019. The event was hosted from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 at various locations throughout the UAFS campus.

The event was hosted as an opportunity to promote, and spread, oral health throughout the community. Free Extraction Day 2019 allowed residents of the area to have a tooth (or teeth) extracted, at no cost. Patients were seen on a first-come, first-serve basis and all participating dentists, assistants, hygienists, students and volunteers donated their time and supplies.

River Valley Smile Center is a comprehensive dental practice which offers an array of services including: cosmetic and restorative dentistry, whitening, veneers, clear braces, same day crowns, root canals, oral surgery, gum treatment, children’s dentistry, implants and more.
