The Timescape team reviews scripts and short stories submitted to them before Conjecture. Timescape Entertainment is a production company that was created in September 2009. Its mission is to produce vibrant independent films using local and independent resources and people to create exciting and dramatic low budget films. Timescape's first short film, The Machine, won an award of merit in the May 2011 BestShorts.net film festival.

* Robert G. Pielke will read selections from A NEW BIRTH OF FREEDOM: THE VISITOR and talk about the creation of the novel: the historical research, the question of communicating with aliens and the logic of time travel. He will also discuss aspects of the second book of the trilogy which is now being readied for release. Also he will give a few hints as to the contend and direction of the final book, now in the process of being written.
