Rock Takes Out The Biggest Street Carnival In The World

Online, March 3, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Produced by ACCRBA, sponsored by BahiaGás, the Government of the State of Bahia and with the support of the Municipal Town hall of Salvador, the 17th edition of the Palco do Rock Festival is guaranteed for the joy of over two million tourists and Brazilian Rock fans.

The festival follows it´s traditional schedule, during the Carnival party of Brazil, the biggest street party in the world, at the the Coqueiral de Piatã, Salvador, Bahia. Rock and Roll to the seaside in one of Brazil's most beautiful beaches.

This year the festival will bring veteran groups like As Mercenárias (80s Punk group) from Sao Paulo as well as new hot names like Riverdies from Rio de Janeiro, that has been winning awards in Brazil and USA for it´s second album "Down Yard".
