Rocket Matter Adds Additional Privacy Capabilities In Signature Cloud Product
Online, July 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Rocket Matter®, the leading online legal practice management and time tracking software solution (http://info.rocketmatter.com/privacy-pr) for small to mid-sized law firms, today announced the ability to permission or deny access to sensitive business information on a per-user basis in their signature product.
Rocket Matter administrators can now restrict which users can access financial information at both the firm and matter level, providing a high degree of flexibility and customization. In addition, access to matter and client information can be enabled or disabled, enabling law firms to grant Rocket Matter access to external entities, such as accountants, virtual assistants, or contract attorneys.
"There's no question that law firms need flexible levels of access to their sensitive data," stated Larry Port, Founding Partner and Chief Software Architect for Rocket Matter. "Client confidentiality is paramount, so law firms should be able to take advantage of the modern legal landscape of LPOs, contract lawyers, and virtual assistants while revealing what's only truly necessary."
Rocket Matter's privacy capabilities also support the recent addition of streamlined legal trust accounting (http://www.rocketmatter.com/pages/product.html) and improved billing functionality. New analytics, including multi-faceted insights into the financial picture of the law firm, require a stronger and flexible permission system.
