ROI Institute Acquires Center for Talent Reporting
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., November 14, 2023 (Newswire.com) - ROI Institute, Inc., a Birmingham, Alabama-based global consulting, teaching, and publishing company, has acquired Center for Talent Reporting (CTR). CTR's mission is to develop new standards for reporting human capital. It was created in 2012 to provide a home for the Talent Development Reporting Principles (TDRp), launched in October 2010. TDRp is an industry-led, grassroots initiative to bring reporting standards to the human capital field (i.e., learning, leadership development, capability, management, performance management, and total rewards), much like the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) have done for accounting. Today, CTR is a thriving community of measurement and reporting practitioners.
"The alignment between ROI Institute and CTR is strong," said Patti P. Phillips, Ph.D., CEO of ROI Institute. "ROI Institute’s purchase of CTR assets will benefit both our customers and CTR members. By leveraging what Dave and Peggy have created, we can further help the human capital management community tell the story of value in terms that matter most to decision-makers."
"The missions of ROI Institute and CTR overlap in many ways," said Jack J. Phillips, Ph.D., Chairman of ROI Institute. "This transition will continue to help bring human capital to the forefront of organizational performance."
ROI Institute will offer CTR products and services and expand those assets globally. David Vance, CTR Executive Director, and Peggy Parskey, CTR Assistant Director, will continue to share their thought leadership through ROI Institute.
"We are excited that ROI Institute, our longest-standing partner, will provide a home for the Talent Development Reporting Principles," said David Vance, Executive Director of the Center for Talent Reporting. "Peggy and I have devoted 13 years to establishing a broad framework for the measurement, reporting, and management of human capital, and we look forward to working with ROI Institute to share TDRp with a broader audience."
"Dave and I are excited to collaborate with ROI Institute on this evolutionary journey," added Peggy Parskey, CTR Assistant Director.
