Rowe Furniture Donates to Habitat for Humanity

Online, May 7, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Rowe Fine Furniture, a leading manufacturer of custom upholstered furniture, recently announced their donation to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Roanoke, VA.

Exceeding a retail value of $26,000, Rowe Furniture delivered more than 86 pieces of upholstery to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore earlier this year. The ReStore maintains a massive 24,000 square-foot facility of home building and furnishing merchandise donated by local manufacturers. The items donated by Rowe will be sold to families in need as much as 50 percent below retail pricing.

In line with Rowe's commitment to sustainability, donations to the ReStore have diverted approximately 2,700 tons of material from landfills drastically decreasing pollution in the region. The ReStore also provides a variety of employment and volunteer opportunities for local residents. Rowe hopes to continue its support of this cause.
