The week-long RPG Art Camp, 2011 is here, starting on 16th to 21st January, 2012. The week-long event at Marve, is a festival that will be attended by some of the art world's most renowned names in both the international and national art circuit. The much awaited for event inspires some of the most incredible works of art from the attendees who look foreword to it all year. Informal settings at these camps tend to bring out the lighter side of otherwise reclusive artists who are temporarily drawn out of their shell. The occasion provides just the right setting and mood for informal exchange of ideas. The week then culminates in fabulous dinner where guests get to interact with some of the most revered minds of the art world and be the first to see their most latest works on display.
Spearheaded by RPG Enterprises Chairman Mr. Harsh Goenka says:
"The Camp has over the years become a much anticipated event on the art calendar for many artists. At the camp there is a refreshing flow of thoughts and ideas. Seniors and younger artists work together in a creatively charged setting. We want to give the artists a liberated environment in Marve that is natural and away from the hustle and bustle of this city. There are as many as 24 artists this time. I am sure they will create some very captivating art during the week long camp."
Arts Trust Director Mr. Vickram Sethi, says:
"The RPG art camp is a confluence of artistic thought. Artists go back to college days, and it's like painting in the class room. The process of questioning starts all over again, the exchange is always intense and each participant finds his or her meaning and reason. No issue is ever resolved on the contrary new issues germinate like the first flowers of spring. The Quest remains."
