RTP Company Celebrates 25th Anniversary, Revenue Growth and Increased Profitability
Online, February 9, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Raleigh, NC, February 9, 2010 - Integrated Industrial Information, Inc. (I-CubedTM), the Engineering Business Integration (EBI) company, announced today that it will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a cocktail reception on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 6pm at the NC Museum of History.
I-Cubed's 25th year was a banner year for the company, demonstrated by significant revenue growth and increased profitability. The success was due to the delivery of products and services to customers like BAE, TRW and I-Robot. In addition, I-Cubed was successful in delivering system integration services across manufacturing, Federal Aerospace & Defense and finance verticals.
Twenty five years ago, NC State University graduate Grant Williard founded I-Cubed without any outside funding and grew it through five distinct phases of operations: initial company formation, mainframe CAD transformation, Computer Aided Design (CAD) to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), digital rights management for CAD, and negotiation of an asset transaction with Adobe in 2005.
In 2005, in parallel with the asset transaction with Adobe, Williard created the framework for I-Cubed to remain a viable entity as an employee-owned company and passed the baton to the I-Cubed employees. Under current President and CEO, Donald A. Thompson, Jr., I-Cubed has diversified its product and service offerings to include a broader global services practice, tools and methods to enhance user experiences, and new products for secure supply-chain collaboration.
"We are a small company that is trusted by global players because we deliver on our commitments, says Thompson. "Our founder created an employee ownership model that has allowed us to create a synergistic relationship between employees and management such that our success is based on true collaboration and teamwork.
In the last four years, I-Cubed has doubled its revenue, remained profitable and expanded partner relationships. Some of I-Cubed's strategic partners include Adobe®, a leader in business, creative, and mobile software solutions (San Jose, CA); Parametric Technologies Corporation (PTC®), a leader in integral Product Lifecycle Management solutions (Needham, MA); and the most recent partner, Convertigo, developers of best in class WEB 2.0 integration platforms (Paris, France).
I-Cubed's 25th anniversary celebration is by invitation-only to allow current and former employees, partners and selected media to celebrate the company's accomplishments. Thompson adds, "This event is our way to say thank you to everyone who has been so supportive over the years."
