Rubbish Begone, a newly established provider of junk removal services in London, shocked their competition with a record number of bookings only a day after the launch of their official website.

Tuesday, August 13 marked a new chapter for London's junk removal industry as a newly formed service provider reported a record number of bookings. According to company officials, their call centre received an immense amount of call traffic, a huge percentage of which resulted in booked services.

Custom service representative for Rubbish Please Anna Caleb explains: "The phone was ringing constantly call after call after call! I couldn't believe it! As if all people in London suddenly decided it's time to get rid of their old furniture or broken refrigerator. I've worked as a custom service rep for more than five years and I can say this was the busiest day I've ever had."

Other professional junk removal companies also reported unusually high number of bookings. Specialists claim this might be the result of a panic wave which was set by a recent incident. On August 8, a home in London collapsed upon itself due the weight of the junk gathered inside. Happily, the obsessive-compulsive hoarder who lived there wasn't at home when the man-made disaster happened.

Andrew Hollis, a first time Rubbish Begone client, commented: "Well, I realize it's downright absurd to worry about such things. After all, I am not a hoarder myself. But it's good to clear out your home from time to time and get rid of the things you don't need. For instance, this old sofa of mine was in a terrible condition so I decided to get rid of it finally. Some items hold sentimental value but when I look at it objectively, it's not like something memorable happened on this piece of furniture so why hold on to it?"

Obsessive-compulsive hoarding has always been a problem in populated areas. Incidents such as this show that it's not just an annoyance for neighbours but it can be quite dangerous as well. Specialists advice you to contact the authorities in case you learn (or even if you are suspicious) a neighbour of yours is an obsessive-compulsive hoarder.

Doctor Ryan Saunders, who has worked with obsessive-compulsive hoarders for years, said: "It's very important to realise these people have a medical condition. It's not just some weird personality quirk, it's an actual health problem and they need help. The responsibility lies in the hands of those who have knowledge, thus if you think somebody close to you has a hoarding problem, you better look for professional health. You might save this person's life!"

Jacob Sully has worked as professional junk removal operative for many years. Now he is part of Rubbish Begone and services clients all over London. Sully has encountered obsessive-compulsive hoarders many times in his career. He said: "Oh, it's tough! Hoarders who are willing turn their backs on the nasty habit are probably the best clients a junk removal company can have. However, they go through some really tough times and it's hard for them. Once I saw a woman cry as if there is no tomorrow when we took her old cupboards away. It was a sad picture."

Rubbish Begone promised to help anyone in need of junk removal services, especially when it comes to hoarders and similar cases.
