Russell-Ward Studio Line Debut an Overwhelming Success
Online, September 4, 2010 (Newswire.com) - (NEW YORK, NY) On August 27th, 2010, Russell-Ward Studio made its retail line debut at the 2010 Emmy Awards Secret Room Events Style Lounge in Los Angeles, CA. The brand's handmade silver jewelry, with its sleek, Greek and Roman aesthetic proved to be an overwhelming success.
The Studio has taken personal orders from celebrities such as Emily Gerson Saines, producer of the Emmy Award winning film "Temple Grandin", Joshua Bitton of the Emmy Award winning show "The Pacific", Jay Alexander of "America's Next Top Model", and many more. A commission by Michael Jai White of "Spawn" is scheduled for use in an upcoming film.
Mychel Russell-Ward, a classically trained studio jeweler specializing in the ancient discipline of Etruscan style granulation on fine silver and fine gold, started making one of a kind jewelry for galleries and private commission. Her eponymous line is not currently available in stores, but with the start of New York Fashion Week on September 9th, the Studio will begin taking wholesale orders.
